Reflections is a National PTA program that recognizes outstanding student achievement in visual arts, literature, musical composition, photography, film production and dance choreography. This is an opportunity for students to unleash their creative talent and bring out the artist in them.

The PTA Reflections program gives students the path to explore their thoughts and feelings,  develop artistic literacy and find a love for learning that will help them become successful in school and in life. And this year marks the successful 50th year of the Reflections program!!

 

Participation Eligibility:

All Kingsley students can participate. The three age divisions that students will compete in are:

• Primary: Preschool-Grade 2
• Intermediate: Grades 3 – 5
• Middle School: Grades 6 – 8
• Special Artist: All grades welcome

Categories to choose from:

Students can submit original artwork in one or more of the following art categories. Each artwork is to be submitted with an Entry form. Without ARTIST STATEMENT we can not accept the entries. 

• Dance/choreography

• Literature

• Photography

• Film production

• Music composition

• Visual arts

Adults are welcome to encourage students but are asked NOT to assist children in any way with their interpretation of the theme or artistic expression.
